If you are resigning from your job at Maryborough McDonald's, you need to submit a resignation letter.
You can print a copy, and hand in at the Maryborough McDonald's store, or you can email them to the Payroll Team. Please ask your manager for the email address . You can also submit your letter via the form below.

A manager may contact you to arrange a face-to-face exit interview or to discuss a change to your requested last day of employment.
McDonald's would like to remind you of your obligation to continue to work during your notice period until your last working day. Failure to provide such minimum notice may result in McDonald's with-holding remuneration in lieu of notice from entitlements on termination of employment. Your work performance and policy compliance obligations remain in place during the notice period.

- Body/Content of Email must state "Please find attached resignation letter for (YOUR NAME)"
- Attached PDF Letter must include your FULL NAME, Date of your Last Shift (take note of required notice periods below) and the reason for your resignation

10. TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT
(I) RESIGNATION BY THE EMPLOYEE
•Permanent Level 2 employees are required to give 1 week’s notice. While casual Crew may resign at the end of any shift, it is anticipated that where possible Crew will ordinarily work their remaining rostered shifts in consultation with the Rostering Manager.
•Level 3 or Level 4 employees (Shift Supervisors and Managers) are required to give the same amount of notice as that required of McDonald’s in the table below.
•McDonald’s may elect to pay a full-time or part-time employee in lieu of notice.
(II) TERMINATION BY McDONALD’S
McDonald’s is required to give an employee the following notice of termination, either in time worked or pay in lieu of notice:
Required Period of Notice on Termination of Employment
Length of Service - Not more than 1 year / Notice - 1 week
Length of Service - More than 1 year, but not more than 3 years / Notice - 2 weeks
Length of Service - More than 3 years, but not more than 5 years / Notice - 3 weeks
Length of Service - More than 5 years / Notice - 4 weeks
The relevant notice period increases by 1 week if the employee is over 45 years of age and has completed at least 2 years’ continuous service with McDonald’s.
